The "Shack" in La Conner, Washington

The “Shack” is located just outside of La Conner, Washington. It is medium bank water front and the view faces Whidbey Island which is the longest island in the continental United States. In the distance are the Olympic Mountains.

The Shack has one bedroom, one full bath and a kitchen. There is also a small living room with a fireplace and dining table - and small means it all fits into 420-square feet. Next to the Shack is an out building called The Delbert where there is a double bed and fold out couch. There is no water or bathroom in The Delbert.

Behind the Shack is a large yard to play games and there is badminton and Corn Hole. There is plenty of room for tents, or to pull in a trailer or RV and there is power and water. There is a propane grill and a fire pit with a rack for outdoor cooking. There are many walks around the neighborhood and trails in the area to explore. The beach in our cove has a lot of crabs and it’s not uncommon to see seals and otters. There are two kayaks but they are tippy and you must wear a life jacket which are at the house. Above, eagles and Heron often swoop across the water. There is easy access from the front of the house to the rocky beach. The Shack is rocky and not a barefoot beach. Bring beach shoes to explore!

It’s only a Shack, but it’s pretty awesome!
